I hope everyone had a fabulous Mother's Day! My boys had a blast at the Pickens County Rodeo - wasn't my first rodeo, but, well... you know! They were a little distracted by the kids' mechanical bull ride, rock climbing wall, and tractors...but they saw a good portion of the "show". Friday, May 18 through Sunday, May 20 - Marietta Greek Festival

The 22nd annual Marietta Greek Festival  celebrates Greek traditions, culture and food.  A wide variety of Greek food will be available for purchase (kids menu too). The Hellenic Dance Program will perform throughout the festival. The program is comprised of six dance groups that cover pre-k through 12th grade as well as a young adult group. The performances begin with traditional dance shows during the day, and more modern dance club hits at the end of the evening. The event also features a Greek marketplace with more than 20 vendors with items including Greek jewelry, handmade linens, art and more.

This super easy recipe is an easy and delicious twist on traditional Strawberry Shortcake.

Ingredients:

1 Box White or Yellow Cake Mix
3 Eggs
1 8 oz. Package Softened Cream Cheese
¼ cup All Purpose Flour
2 Quarts of Strawberries
¼ cup Granulated Sugar
Whipped Cream
