WIN TIX: The Composer Is Dead by Lemony Snicket

Atlanta Symphony Family Concert is May 15th, 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

FAMILY CONCERT: Lemony Snicket’s popular children’s book, The Composer Is Dead, comes to life with music by Nathaniel Stookey! This family-friendly concert introduces young audiences to the instruments in the orchestra in the vein of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf and Britten’s A Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. Conductor: Jere Flint.

Performances are Sunday, May 15th at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Atlanta Symphony Hall, Woodruff Arts Center. CLICK HERE for more information and to purchase tickets online.

Single tickets for these performances are $15 to $20. Purchase tickets online at www.atlantasymphony.org, or by calling (404) 733-5000. Tickets may also be purchased at the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office, located in the Woodruff Arts Center at 15th and Peachtree Streets. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

With music being continually cut from schools, the role is now more vital than ever.
