Following a year of research and development, Atlanta-based parents and co-creators Amy and Todd Cameron along with Jennifer and Tony Tiberia, are excited to announce the debut of their first children’s safety product, “arm.ID.illo bandz.”  The product, named for the small animal born wearing a natural suit of armor and known as a symbol of safety, is a bright orange silicone bracelet perforated with holes down the center which comes packaged with a series of numbered “pupz,” or buttons. The pupz are easily popped into place to display a phone number to reunite a child with parents or a caregiver in the unfortunate event he or she becomes lost. The pupz snap in and out of the holes in the bracelet, enabling a parent to display any cell phone number prominently around their child’s wrist. Parents are able to easily switch out the numbered pupz at any time based on who the child is with, so the child can be located in a matter of minutes with just one quick phone call. Arm.ID.illo bandz are waterproof, reusable and, most importantly, easily identifiable.

Longtime Friends Amy and Todd Cameron and Jennifer and Tony Tiberia, creators of the arm.ID.illo bandz, came up with the product after the couples shared their nightmare stories of losing a child in a public place. “We knew we weren’t the only parents out there to have had this experience, and research has shown that over 90% of families experience a lost child incident at some point – meaning 9 out of 10 kids get lost at least once, so it really hit home,” explains co-founder Amy Cameron.

Kids often don’t know the cell phone number of the person they are with, especially if it’s not their mom or dad.  Wearing an arm.ID.illo bandz is perfect for children who don’t know their parent’s phone number, children with developmental disabilities or kids who may get nervous or anxious when lost.

Targeted for children 2 to 9 years old, arm-ID-illo bandz were designed not only to be durable, eco-friendly, adjustable, waterproof and reusable, but easily identifiable.  Retailing for $14.99, each arm.ID.illo bandz comes packaged with 40 pupz, 4 of each number 0-9, in a clear plastic storage case. The product comes with instructions for use as well as safety tips for parents, caregivers and children.  Parents can also join the arm-ID-illo bandz “Safe Kids Network,” a new nationwide group teaching safety in numbers.
