Nickelodeon and Broadway Across America bring "Storytime Live!" to Atlanta’s Fabulous Fox Theatre from June 11-13th. "Storytime Live!" is the first-ever live family theatrical tour featuring characters from four of the current top-rated preschool shows on television today: "Dora the Explorer," "The Backyardigans," "The Wonder Pets!" and "Ni Hao, Kai-lan." Preschoolers and their parents can see their favorite Nick Jr. characters come to life in one action-packed on-stage adventure hosted by Nick Jr.'s Moose A. Moose and Zee.

Each segment of "Storytime Live!" takes kids and their families on a different brand-new adventure, whether its leaping into Fairytale Land with Dora and Sleeping Boots, journeying through Filthingham with The Backyardigans, hopping into Wonderland with the Wonder Pets! or jumping on clouds with Kai-lan and the Monkey King.
And that’s not all! Dora is coming to Atlanta starting this Saturday, May 15th for a fun-filled week of community events to promote the upcoming show. My Jack is SO excited (okay, well he will be when he meets Dora!).
The appearance schedule for Dora the Explorer is as follows. Unless otherwise noted, Dora will be available for autographs, photos and—of course—hugs!
Sat. May 15: Georgia Aquarium Meet & Greet – 12pm: Dora will mix and mingle with little ones visiting her aquatic friends at the world’s largest aquarium. Meet & Greet is included with admission.
Sat. May 15: ALIVE! Expo at Georgia World Congress Center –2pm: This two-day event focuses on the benefits of natural products and green living. Dora will make a special appearance in the Kids Eco Fitness Center alongside members of the Atlanta Falcons. Event entry for children under 16 is free, and adult ticket information can be found at www.aliveexpo.com. Sun. May 16: Atlanta Braves vs. Arizona Diamondbacks at Turner Field – 11:45 am (Game at 1:35 pm): Dora will be in Fan Plaza before the game to meet little sports fans and help cheer on the Atlanta Braves. Families are also invited to stop by at 11:45 am and 12:30 pm for storytime with Dora.
Mon. May 17: Música y Baile and Cuentos! at Imagine It! The Children’s Museum – 2 pm. Dora will participate in two popular children’s programs. Kids will move and groove at 2 pm during the educational Latin rhythms program, Música y Baile. At 3 pm Dora will participate in a reading during Cuentos!, a bilingual story time. Both events are included with museum admission. **Dora will have limited availability between the two programs for photos.
Wed. May 19: Children’s Storybook Time at Atlanta Botanical Gardens – 10:30 am. Dora will lead an exciting literary adventure on the great lawn. This event is included with garden admission.
