At a recent event to promote this weekend’s March of Dimes “Broadcasters for Babies” campaign (see articles section below), I met Vicki Stern-Brown, Founder, and Jill Wirka, Managing Partner, of Atlanta-based fashion company promom couture. Promom tees are fun and sassy, and I was very happy to head home with my own “Happy Mom, Happy Wife, Happy Life” shirt (as seen in this photo). promom couture is based in Atlanta and sells their merchandise online and in several local boutiques. But the company has a national and international following as well. Celebrity client Cindy Crawford was on Oprah talking about her favorite things... and what did she show off? Her collection of promom tees! promom designs have been seen on The Today Show; channel 46 CBS Mornings; TLC’s Jon and Kate +8 and more…Additionally, many celeb moms have gone promom: Kate Hudson; Tina Fey; Julianna Margulies; Diane Lane; and Mariska Hargitay to name a few. The company even has a personal note from First Lady Michelle Obama letting them know how much she enjoys her promom tees.
