Chef Paul Albrecht and son Patrick – who together run the Great Food Inc. restaurant group – have proven their mastery of the upscale dining scene as the driving forces behind Paul’s Restaurant and Social Vinings. But for their latest venture, The Burger Club, they’ve left the white tablecloths behind in favor of a fun, casual spot where kids and adults of all ages are welcome.
As the name connotes, The Burger Club offers an unusual variety on the all-American staple ranging from sumptuous simplicity to tastes that border on the truly exotic. There is a lamb burger, inspired by Patrick’s mother’s Greek heritage as well as the aptly named “Artery Annihilator” – a bacon cheeseburger served on a Krispy Kreme glazed donut instead of a bun (yup). My favorite - the Georgia Peach Burger. At first I was unsure about it, but wow - it really was amazing! The Georgia Peach burger is served with grilled peaches, fried green tomato, feta cheese and grainy pecan mustard. And vegetarians - there's plenty for you too. From delicious salads to a variety of black bean burgers, fried green tomato sandwiches and more. While family-friendly, The Burger Club is not just for those with kids. There is a full bar complete with “adult milkshakes” and a separate lounge with numerous TVs, making it a perfect spot to cheer on your favorite teams.
Mondays: The Burger Club is now offering all draft beers for half price on Monday nights.
Tuesdays: Slider Night - try a variety of specialty burgers served in miniature form!
Wednesday: Magic night with Howie! Magic tricks for everyone.
