In an act of courage, Gina Gallagher and Patricia Konjoian have shared the story of their families and the journey of two of their children, one of whom lives with bipolor disorder and the other with Aspergers. The book offers an intimate look at how special children can impact a family, can test a parent's strength and, ultimately, can enrich a family in entirely unforeseen ways.
I read this book in one sitting, and came away believing that these two extraordinary families were sent on this journey with their remarkable families so that they can reach, touch and educate us all. It is a Macaroni Must read.
