The Nadder from How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular
SO, it's nearly 11:00pm on Wednesday and I'm just now getting to my weekly "editorial."
This has been a difficult week (for a number of reasons I won't go into!). Coming home from a week's vacation is always a hard adjustment. But Myrtle Beach was wonderful, and I loved having that quality time with the kids and our extended family from New Jersey.
With that said, I've got to get packing - again.
This time I'm traveling for work and fun - but leaving the family behind. It's too bad the kids can't come with me though! I'm headed to Washington D.C first thing in the morning for the How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular. I'm handling some PR for the show, so I need to see these enormous live animatronic dragons for myself! It's put on by Dreamworks and the folks who brought you Walking With Dinosaurs, so it's going to be a BIG DEAL. Unfortunately the show is NOT coming to Atlanta anytime soon. So, if you happen to be traveling between now and February, you might want to check and see where it's playing (Philadelphia; East Rutherford,NJ; Columbus, OH; Anaheim...). I know it's going to be amazing!
On Friday, I'm taking the train from D.C. to NYC for a special Macaroni Kid event - basically an amazing rewards trip with some awesome publishers from all over the U.S. Hopefully we won't get in TOO much trouble. We're being hosted by the Wyndham Trypp on West 35th Street. If you're going to NYC with family, this is definitely a hotel you'll need to check out. Okay, I haven't been there yet... but from the pictures, I'd say that's the case (they have family rooms - that's not something you find a lot of in NYC!). In any case, I'll give you a more thorough report when I return!
I have yet to start packing and I leave at 6:30am, so with that, I'm off! I'll likely be checking in on Facebook and sharing some of my adventures.
Have a great weekend and hopefully these thunderstorms will stop for a few days!
PS congrats to last week's contest winners: Anna R for Then Again Consigments; Amber B for Pretty Please boutique; and Melissa D for Seal/Macy Gray. Enjoy!
