Polar bear at Central Park Zoo - He's cool!
Summer vacation is winding down, but that doesn't mean it still isn't hot as blazes - and it will for some time. So I'm keeping this information live..until it cools off!

Except during showtime - it’s free to view the Fountain of Rings show (with music), which happens four times a day, 365 days a year, at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Piedmont Park Legacy Fountain - The Promenade boasts the new Legacy Fountain (it opened last year) and two grand meadows, with views of the new wetlands and woodlands. The fountain features more than 70 jets, reaching up to 30 feet in the air and magnificent LED-lighting, capable of showcasing more than 1 million lighting configurations. Splash and play all day! Geyser Towers at Stone Mountain Park
Brand new to Stone Mountain Park is Geyser Towers. Multiple levels of suspended rope bridges and net tunnels connect you to towering platforms that overlook the gushing geyser. With its sporadic eruptions and multiple offshoots, you can play in the spray or stay high and dry. The options, and the fun, are all yours. As an option for the littlest guests, toddlers can splash in a trickling creek while mom and dad relax in the shade.
