I can't believe it's already Labor Day Weekend. And soon to be September. So now I have Earth, Wind & Fire stuck in my head. Gotcha!
September is a big month for our family. Monday is my wedding anniversary. My birthday, my grandmother's birthday, and my father's birthday (a super special one!) are this month. We'll be using the Createacard App featured in this edition for sure...
Football starts this weekend, kids' baseball is underway, and we're well into our school year (while our friends up north are gearing up to START school Tuesday).
This has been a whirlwhind of a summer for us, but I'll wait to share more about that in a future edition - all good things I hope!
There are tons of great ways to enjoy this end-of-summer weekend - I just hope the rain stays away since so many of them are outdoors - including Art in the Park in Marietta, Nibble & Noshfest, the annual Dragon Con parade - and so much more! We'd like to get at least one more good pool weekend in too - they've been few and far between for us this summer.
I know many people will be watching college football - either in person or on TV. Or traveling for one last summer beach trip (unless you're taking advantage of Cobb County's Fall Break for that...). But I'm happy to be staying home. If it rains, we might just have to watch some HGTV and get inspired to paint and decorate the new house some more.
I know I am definitely looking forward to sleeping in!!! I'll be honest - school (my kids' school) is kicking my butt! I'lll simply never be a morning person. Luckily my boys manage pretty well at 6:30 am, even if I'm not much more than a glorified zombie at that hour. Amazingly, they leave the house well fed and dressed. I'm not one to argue with their choice of wardrobe.
But now I'm rambling. Really, this edition speaks for itself.
