DESCRIPTION:
This summer, kids can have the ultimate Major League Baseball experience with one-week baseball camps hosted by the Atlanta Braves. The camps will take place around metro Atlanta throughout June and July, and are open to boys and girls ages 5-13, of all abilities.
At Braves Baseball Camps, we're dedicated to the idea of bringing out the personal best in high potential kids and teens. We understand that all children, given the right support structures, have high potential. Inherent to this purpose is a recognition of the unique gifts and skills in each of our campers and athletes, as well as an awareness that to best coach them we have to engage with them, understand them, and meet them where they are on their developmental journey.
In addition to a baseball curriculum tailored to each age group, campers will be treated to unforgettable experiences such as a field trip to Turner Field and meeting a current Braves player or coach. Each camper will also take home an official Braves uniform complete with hat, socks, jersey, pants and belt, and two complimentary tickets to a Braves home game!
The curriculum for Braves Baseball Camps is designed and implemented by our Director of Curriculum Roc Murray, a highly decorated baseball coach and professional scout from California. Roc has coached, tutored, and trained ballplayers at various levels of age and skill for the past 30 years with incredible distinction. His experience and recognition includes:
- 30+ years experience as a high school coach and teacher
- ABCA/Diamond High School Division II West Region Coach of the Year
- California Coaches Association Coach of the Year
- MLB Scout
- Curriculum and training implementation for various NCAA teams
The camp curriculum is highly organized, tailored to the age and ability of all ballplayers, and infused with positive energy every minute of the day. Braves campers will work hard with the coaches to learn proper baseball mechanics to maximize each camper’s individual tools. Each camper will make progress toward learning and understanding the components of a Major League swing, as well as proper throwing, fielding, and base running techniques. 
HOURS:
Camps run from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day, and extended day options are also available.
