Happy Easter (and Passover - a little late)!
It's a BUSY weekend in Cobb County. Not only is the weekend packed with Easter activities, but the Atlanta Braves open their season at SunTrust Park Friday night against the Padres. That series wraps up Sunday (Kids Run the Bases!), and then the Nationals come to town for games Monday - Thursday.
Between the recent I-85 collapse, and the new traffic issues on I-75, this might be a good time to download the Braves schedule onto your phone. If you commute in town, or just live anywhere near the stadium, make sure you know when the games are!
Of course for many baseball fans, this is an exciting weekend. Cobb County has put some valuable information on their website with regards to Opening Day, parking in general, The Battery and more. This Saturday, you can find SVM Macaroni Kid at the Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop at Sprayberry High School. The event is from 10am to 5pm, and even features a helicopter drop in the afternoon. Had your fill of egg hunts? The Georgia Renaissance Festival opens this weekend in Fairburn. If you don't want to travel that far, Sandy Springs Artsapalooza is happening as well.
