See "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" This Weekend

Playing at Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre Friday - Sunday. Kids Under 12 Go Free!

April 17, 2017

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is one of my favorite Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, and I'm looking forward to going to see it with my kids this weekend at Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre! We plan to pack a picnic, but concessions are also available on site. The show runs approximately two hours and is fun for the entire family. Covered seating is available. Best of all, kids 12 & under are FREE!  This is great family outing - don't miss it!

Presented by The Theatre Project at MHAC, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the high-energy musical, written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the coat of many colors story of Joseph from the Old Testament.  The story follows Joseph, the fathers favored son; as he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, taken to Egypt where he eventually becomes second in command to Pharaoh and eventually reunites his family.  The musical journey is a kaleidoscope of colorful dance numbers as well as catchy songs such as Any Dream Will Do, Go Go Go Joseph and Those Canaan Days parodying various musical styles from calypso to country and western, pop, rock ‘n’ roll and Jazz.
