Recently I received samples of the new Pampers Baby Dry diapers to try, and we love them. My daughter mostly loves that they have Elmo in glasses on the front. I'm thrilled that they keep her dry overnight.
In case you're wondering what's different about the new Pampers Baby Dry, they are now much thinner, but still provide great protection up to 12 hours overnight. Pampers Baby Dry now have the same Extra Absorb Channels that exist on Swaddlers and Cruisers, which makes Pampers the first brand to offer this innovation across their entire line of diapers. Pampers diapers undergo extensive testing with pediatricians, dermatologists and moms to get it just right, and they have done a great job with this product.

When we first got the package, my daughter was excited for something different. I was a little skeptical because the diapers are so thin. However, I learned that a thicker diaper (when dry) does not mean that it will perform better. While Pampers Baby Dry is now thinner for better comfort, when wet, the thick-to-thin technology distributes wetness evenly and locks it away so that my daughter still feels dry. It was obvious to me that she felt dry - I had to chase her around the house to take her diaper off! Usually she takes off her own diapers and hands them to me when they are wet!
When I ran out of all my Pampers Baby Dry diapers and tried to put another diaper brand on my daughter, she specifically asked for the "Elmo diaper". I too wanted the “Elmo diaper” because it really held up overnight, even with the new thinner design. It was especially nice not having to change soaked sheets in the morning, like I often do when I use other diaper brands. So off I went to the store to get more.
One thing to note: the new Pampers Baby Dry diapers are being launched in a "rolling" effort. You may see both the old and new styles on the shelves right now. Pampers is starting with sizes 5 and 6, and then will gradually roll out the new product in the smaller sizes as well. By December 2017, only the new, thinner, Baby Dry diaper will be on shelves.
A shared a few samples with other Macaroni Kid moms and here is what they had to say:
"This is the only diaper that has kept both of my kids dry all night."
"While using these diapers, my son took longer than usual naps."
"My son enjoyed cool Elmo with his sunglasses."
"These diapers were super soft, the softest I have encountered."
"These diapers didn’t fail overnight."
"I especially liked the stretchy tabs and how less bulky it was."
"It protected my son. The diapers did not leave my son irritated or red."
