How: Get a complete list of participating museums and 2 FREE tickets HERE
Please Note:
- You can get a ticket for yourself and one other person. It is per email address. If you bring other guests, and they have not gotten a ticket, they will have to pay regular price. If you have 2 adults and 2 kids, be sure each of the adults uses a different email and gets a ticket for a child.
- You are only able to get free tickets to one museum (per email), so be sure you choose which one you really want to go to. There are no exchanges for a different museum once you've made your selection.
- ONLY an official Museum Day ticket is eligible for free entry. And just how do you get your hands on one of them? Go to Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day, answer a few questions, and your ticket will be emailed to you...it's that easy!
- Some places will accept a mobile ticket via your phone, some may not. Be sure to check the ticket to see if you need to print it out before you go. If a printed ticket is required, and you don't have a printer, ask a friend, or go to a library to get them printed.
There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but there IS a free museum ticket waiting for you, so go sign up!
