While October may be known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, one local cleaning company has decided to focus year-round on all the potential cancers women battle.
Clean Tu Casa LLC is a residential and commercial cleaning company that has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving women with cancer. The purpose is the gift of a clean home especially during trying times, which can help make life a little easier and bring up spirits. Serving in partnership, Clean Tu Casa is driving awareness to ensure residents know how female cancer patients can register for free house cleanings.
“All of us are touched by cancer directly or indirectly in some way. The amazing feeling of a clean, organized home is a simple 'win' for ladies who could use an extra hand at home.” said Vanessa Higgins, owner of Clean Tu Casa. “The reactions warm anyone’s heart...having a clean home also gives relief to the families and caretakers. It was a natural motivation to want to be a part of such a caring effort since Summer 2017.”
HOW IT WORKS:
Clean Tu Casa commits to donating at least 3 hours of cleaning per month for 2 consecutive months per patient FREE of charge. To get started, patients should complete the brief application with Cleaning for a Reason to pre-qualify at http://portal.cleaningforareason.org/patients/account/register. A request to be matched with Clean Tu Casa can be made on the application within the company’s service area.
SERVICE AREAS FOR FREE HOME CLEANING OPENINGS:
Openings for free housekeeping are available in East Cobb / Marietta, Sandy Springs and Brookhaven. Surrounding Metro Atlanta areas can also inquire and be matched with possible housekeeping help from other Cleaning For A Reason partners.
