Operation Gratitude: Say Thank You to Those Who Serve Collection Drive
Although the Cobb County libraries are closed on 1/20, they are running a Martin Luther King Service Project Jan 15- Jan 29th. Please see details below:
During January 15 – January 29th you can go into your Cobb County branch library during the drive and drop a letter or card in for Deployed Troops, New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders and Wounded Heroes and their Caregivers in the collection box.
The mission of Operation Gratitude is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the U.S. Military and First Responder communities, and provide volunteer opportunities for Americans to express their appreciation to all who serve our nation. Every year, Operation Gratitude sends 300,000+ individually addressed Care Packages to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen deployed overseas, to their children left behind, and to First Responders, New Recruits, Veterans, Wounded Heroes, and their Caregivers. Your letter or card will be mailed to Operation Gratitude to be included in care packages to our heroes.
Please visit your Cobb County library branch website for further important instructions for your card.
