Moms, get ready to bring your kids to the Rock Party Event of Year! The Alliance Theatre is ecstatic to premiere a new musical that is going to knock your kids socks off in the best way possible! The show is Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The ROCK Experience! Featuring family friendly rock tunes and an empowering message of loving who you are, this musical, based on the Mo Willem's children's book, is an experience not to be missed!
Children’s book author and artist Mo Willems (Knuffle Bunny, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Elephant and Piggie’s We Are In a Play) brings another lovable character to life in this exciting family musical. Grab your friends and watch as Wilbur, a clothes-loving mole rat with exceptional style, navigates the pressure to be just like everyone else. With tail-shaking tunes, empowering messages of individuality, and classic Mo Willems humor, this musical is sure to rock audiences of all ages.Music by Deborah Wicks La Puma (Elephant and Piggie's: We Are In A Play, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus: The Musical).

On March 28, the 1:00 p.m. performance of Naked Mole Gets Dressed will be available for attendees of the Woodruff Arts Center’s Toddler Takeover Festival. This one of a kind experience developed for children age newborn through 5-years-old will feature performances of the Alliance Theatre’s Kathy and Ken Bernhardt Theatre for the Very Young, storytimes and art-making at the High Museum of Art, performances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and much more. Performances are also available for school groups and home-school groups on March 4th at 11:45 AM; and March 5th - 26th, 2020 at 9:45 AM. & 11:45 AM. Most appropriate for grades K-6.
