Atlanta Braves World Series Championship Parade

The Atlanta Braves have won the World Series Championship in a 7-0 defeat of the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the series.  Shortly after, they announced that there would a parade on Friday to celebrate this historic win.  According to Channel 2 Action News, there will be two parts to the parade.  Part one begins in downtown Atlanta at Olympic Centennial Park and part two in the Cumberland area of Cobb ending at Truist Park.  



SCHOOL IS OUT! Many districts including, Cobb County School District, Marietta City Schools, Atlanta Public Schools, Clayton County School District, DeKalb County School District, Fulton County School District, have designated Friday, November 5, 2021, as a student-teacher holiday!  




Parade Routes & Event Times

  • Friday, November 5th, 2021 ( see the official map route here
    • Downtown Atlanta @ 12 pm
      • Scheduled to begin at the intersection of Peachtree and Marietta Streets. 
    • Cobb County @ 2 pm 
      • The parade is expected to begin at the corner of Riverwood Parkway and Cobb Parkway.  It will end at Battery Avenue. 
    • Celebration at Truist Park begins @ 3:30 pm
      • 3:30- post-parade celebration
      • 4:30- Concert Featuring Grammy Award-winning artists Ludacris and Big Boi.  Free tickets are required and must be reserved in advance.
      • 6 pm - Event concludes
      • Pre-Paid Parking passes for the celebration at Truist Park go on sale Thursday at www.Braves.com/parade.
    • A ticket is required to attend the ceremony and concert inside Truist Park. (CURRENTLY SOLD OUT)
