It's the International Day of Friendship, which is a great day to talk with your kids about what makes a great friend. Encourage your child to plan something special with friends today, or reach out and make a new friend! July 30

4. Shop at Black-owned businesses

August is Black Business Month. Find Black-owned businesses in your community this month and lift them up by shopping there, posting on social media about them, and writing great reviews online for them! Then make it a habit to intentionally support Black-owned businesses in your community past Aug. 31.
