The Scoop on St. Patty's Day
The History:
Ever wonder why we go green on St. Patrick’s Day? Well, back in 18th century Ireland, green became a symbol of rebellion against British rule. That spirit stuck, and now we celebrate it big time!
Wearing Green:
Legend has it that mischievous Leprechauns will pinch you if you're not sporting green. So, slap on some green garb and join the fun! Get creative with it because if you don't, some of your friends may indulge in pinching you!

Live! - March 16th - 17th, noon till late. Grab your tickets for a green-filled fiesta.

Join the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival for family fun on March 16th and 17th. Kids under 13 get in free! Tickets support a good cause, too.

Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Midtown, March 16th, from noon to 1:30. Rain or shine, it's green time!

-Drink green milk: Leprechaun-approved!
-Make a leprechaun trap: Get crafty and catch some luck!
-Lucky Charms for breakfast: It's tradition!
-Greenify your eats: Add green food coloring to your pancakes and eggs!

-Gold coin hunt: Chocolate coins are optional, but recommended!
