In this story, a young boy named Charlie finds a “golden ticket” admitting him into Willy Wonka’s top-secret chocolate factory where he encounters chocolate rivers, inflating blueberries, magic elevators and other delights. The world's largest popcorn ball was unveiled in October 2006 in Lake Forest, IL. It weighed 3,415 pounds, measured 8 feet in diameter, and had a circumference of 24.6 feet!
Who doesn't like popcorn? Usually served salted or sweetened, with butter or without, popcorn is one of America's favorite snacks!

Science Fun: Floating Popcorn Kernels
Demonstrate buoyancy and chemical reactions! Show your kids some science with items you probably have at home.
What you need:
- A clear, tall container
- 3 cups of water--You can see in the video that I did not measure anything
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup of baking soda
- 1/8 cup of unpopped popcorn kernels
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup of white vinegar

What you do:
- Mix baking soda and water in the clear container
- Add corn kernels
