Be Hallo-green this year! Throughout October, Febreze and Macaroni Kid will participate in National Costume Swap Day™ events. Smyrna Vinings Marietta Macaroni Kid will hold a swap on Sunday, October 9th, at at Moore's of Atlanta, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
You probably have a gently used costume laying around your house don't you? Why not save that $15 - $50 you were going to spend on a new costume and take part in the Costume Swap instead. After all, those costumes were likely only worn for a few hours.By simply applying Febreze Fabric Refresher to cloth items, moms can freshen costumes to swap at local events, saving themselves time and money.
A costume swap is recycling at its most fun. Kids get new-to-them costumes, and parents get to save money and the planet. So before you toss out that old costume and head to the store to buy a new one, join us for National Costume Swap Day™ on Sunday, Oct. 9th at Moore's of Atlanta Chinese Martial Arts' studio.
The First Annual Costume Swap is going to be a great time! Not only will kids get to pick out a costume, but we will have some fun activities happening at Moore's as well. There will be mini lessons for kids (drop, kick and roll!), a coloring/activity station, some fun from The Music Studio at Vinings and more. We'll have free pizza (while it lasts) from Davinci’s Pizzeria too! Plus, the first 50 people to check out will receive a gift bag which includes, among other things, a bottle of Febreze.
This event is free to attend and swap, so we hope you'll tell all of your friends and neighbors! Please make sure you "LIKE" this article and share it with your Facebook friends. The more people that attend, the better selection of costumes!
Here is how the swap works:
Next week, participants are encouraged to drop off swap-able, gently used, clean costumes during listed hours at one of these designated locations:
• Moore's of Atlanta | 1810 Spring Road #4 | Smyrna, GA 30080
Drop Off Times: Tues, Oct. 4 , Thurs. Oct. 6 from 4pm to 7pm and Fri. Oct. 7 from 4 to 7pm
• Music Studio at Vinings | 4895 S. Atlanta Road | Smyrna, GA 30080
Drop Off Times: Mon. Oct. 3 - Fri. Oct. 7 from 2:30pm to 6:30pm
In exchange for costume(s) you will be given a Swap Ticket to be brought back for the event on October 9th. (You will receive one ticket per full costume.) We will also be taking any donations for Halloween Accessories (all accessories will be free at the swap, no ticket required).
If you would like to take part in the Costume Swap this year please RSVP HERE so that we can get an idea of how many people will be attending and/or donating costumes. Registration is not required, but it's encouraged.
Last Minute Drops: We prefer NOT to have last minute drops, but if you can't drop off your costumes during the week, we'll be accepting drop offs starting at 10:45am on Sunday the 9th at Moore's of Atlanta. No new drop offs after 11:30am please.
