ATLANTA AREA ATTRACTIONS - Have Fun in Town!

Six Flags Over Georgia - Head to Six Flags Over Georgia for an entire week of intense fun during Spring Break March 31 - April 8! April 1 is April Stooge Day. Alliance Theatre  - Not for the kids, but the highly anticipated Ghost Brothers of Darkland County premieres on April 4th! (Music and lyrics by John Mellencamp and Book by Stephen King).

World of Coca-Cola - The Vault of the Secret Formula exhibit opened in December, so if you haven't visited in a while, it's supposed to be pretty darn cool. And of course kids love the 4D movie and well, the tasting room! (It's possible to go sugar /caffeine free!).

Fernbank Museum - Check out Tadpole Tales Sat. March 31st at 11:30am, the Dinsoaur Egg Hunt on April 7th (don't forget to register in advance!) and all the museum has to offer! IMAX too!

Georgia Aquarium - Did you know about the new Total Ticket Package? If you aren't a member, you now pay one price for ALL Aquarium attractions. That's six permanent galleries; admission to the spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show; admission to the animated Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow theater; and admission to changing exhibits as well.

The Children's Museum of Atlanta
- Have you seen the "Adventures of Clifford The Big Red Dog" exhibit yet? If not, this is the perfect time to do it.

Inside CNN
- The Inside CNN Studio Tour takes you behind the scenes with views of Atlanta's CNN Studios. Visit the website to see all the tour has to offer. Fun for kids too!

Underground Atlanta - Underground Atlanta is bustling with activity, day or night. Enjoy daily entertainment, fortune telling, homemade candy, dining and souvenir shopping. Stone Mountain Park - Brand new to Stone Mountain Park is Geyser Towers (opening March 31!).  Multiple levels of suspended rope bridges and net tunnels connect you to towering platforms that overlook the gushing geyser. With its sporadic eruptions and multiple offshoots, you can play in the spray or stay high and dry. The options, and the fun, are all yours. As an option for the littlest guests, toddlers can splash in a trickling creek while mom and dad relax in the shade.

Zoo Atlanta
- What's new at the zoo? No more admiring from afar – now, you can feed the giraffes from the all-new Twiga Terrace (starting March 31st)! Stand eye-to-eye with Earth’s tallest living land mammals, and hand-feed them part of their regular diet. $3 fee.

Marietta Cobb Museum of Art - See the calendar for special events and classes taking place at the museum. Visit FREE on Sunday, April 1st (First Sunday Family Day from 1pm to 4pm).

Chattahoochee Nature Center - There's always something going on at CNC in Roswell, and now's the perfect time to go and explore. Check out their events calendar as different programs are offered daily, from trail hikes to animal encounters and Bio Buggies.

Southern Museum of Locomotive History - Events for families include Homeschool Day on April 2 and Mommy & Me "Flags, Whistles and Bells" on April 5. Always a fun place to visit and see big trains and model trains too!

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park - Park Day (volunteer) is March 31. See an artillery demonstration (April 1). Become a junior ranger, ride bikes or hike the trails.

CityPass Atlanta  - Now, if you're going to make your Spring Break a true staycation, you might want to take advantage of the CityPass and play tourist! CityPASS gives you admission to 5 must-see Atlanta attractions (you choose from 7) and is valid for nine days beginning with the first day of use.
