Hello from Myrtle Beach!
We had a couple beautiful days here, followed by flash floods yesterday, and then another beautiful day today until about 3pm. I have no idea what the rest of the week will hold but hopefully the rain will stay away at least until the evenings! We have a dolphin watch planned for the morning, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
The boys are headed to the arcade and "racetrack" with their dad and cousins so I'm catching up a little and getting this somewhat abbreviated edition out to you.
There are plenty of great events this week, you'll just need to look for them all in THIS WEEK'S PICKS versus in article format. Friday night movie at Taylor-Brawner Park, Atlanta Street Food Festival in Piedmont Park, Flying Colors Butterfly Festival at CNC, BB&T Atlanta Open (Plus SMASHZONE and Publix Family Zone for kids and families) at Atlantic Station, Coca-Cola Film Festival at the Fox Theatre and so much more!
A note about Cobb County Libraries - as always there are tons and tons of fun events for kids of all ages at the libraries. Make sure to scroll through the calendar to see what's going on as many events require pre-registration. There are too many to list and there's no reason to regurgitate their calendar. CLICK HERE and see what Cobb County has to offer.
Hope everyone is having a great week and I'll be back next week briefly - before I hit the road again, this time for DC and NYC.
