Turn red plastic cups into Dr Seuss' Thing One and Thing Two using common craft materials you should already have on hand.  Hooray for simple crafts kids can do themselves!  What a great way to celebrate Dr Seuss' birthday.

Materials needed:
- Two red cups
- blue ribbon or string (we used ribbon shreds)
- black sharpie marker
- small piece of white paper
- scissors
- googly eyes
- hot glue or craft glue

What to do:
- Place cup upside down and glue bunched up ribbon to the top for the hair.  It is a nice effect when you use curling ribbon and curl the pieces for the hair.
- Cut out two circles from a piece of white scrap paper; use the marker to label one "Thing 1" and the other "Thing 2."
- Glue the circle labels onto the front of the cup toward the bottom.
- Glue on googly eyes and draw on a smiley face above the label to complete your Thing 1 and Thing 2.
